Children’s rights:

We wish every child in the world a house, so they can live warm and safely inside. Furthermore we wish that every child can go to school, with (good) school stuff, so they can learn skills and can play with friends. We also would like that children can have extra developments, like other languages and skills. We wish that people can communicate with the people internal, but also with the people foreign.

We also wish every child enough food and clean water, that is very important for their health. Furthermore we would like that every child can live in good health and with medicines. And that there are people who can help you when you are ill (doctor). We also want that every child can have clean and enough clothes.

We would like that children can have playgrounds to meet with friends and to move. We also wish that everyone can meet people out their own surrounding with means of communication. We want that every child can play with toys, play instruments and play a sport.

Feedback from:

Cleardale Public School

I really liked their introduction because they got the points of not only having the actual needs of others, but also extras, or wants, such as being able to play sports, have enough supplies for school and being able to communicate not only with each other freely, but also with people who don't necessarily speak the same language. I think that's an important aspect of this project and I think they brought that idea out very well. (Grace)

I really liked the two pictures they drew about Europe because it explains the truth with just pictures. (Faisal)

"I liked how they drew a picture of thoughts about Europe and how they have love, money , and food and then how they have the real life of a refugee in Europe and how they sleep in tents and they are cold and there sad with no money. I think they have a good understanding of the different problems around the world. I think we should put a stop to people living in tents and we should give money to the refuges."  (Stephanie)

"I have looked at the global teenager project and I have looked at the pictures. Every picture they showed is what every kid should, I liked the picture because it is showing a kid living in a nice house while there is an entire family living in a small tent, we need to change that and find people safe homes."  (Hasan)

Your drawings and pictures show us you are working hard to understand more about children's rights. We are very curious about your explanations about all your contributions and want to learn from debates in your classroom. Can you share more of it with all of us?
