We are a group of sociable and full of energy teens, who need to discover new awesome things every second. 

SO, we are in the 7th class at "Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu" National College in Buzău -  a pretty town from S-E of Romania.

My name is Teodora Tache, I am from Buzau, Romania, am 13 years old and learn at the National College "B. P. Hasdeu" Buzau. I like studying Physics, Romanian, Biology and Chemistry. As foreign languages, I know English, German, French and I started learning Japanese a little while ago. I am very interested in Japanese culture, especially Animes and Mangas, which I started learning how to draw. In my free time, I sing, dance, play the piano, draw, play mobile games, listen to violin and dubstsep music, read books and Manga and watch Animes. I entered the GTP because I like studying the problems of other children, especially when they are bound to the Children's Rights. I really like meeting new friends, and I hope you like it as well! Contributions Challenge 1:

 

Article 22: 

• What do you know about the refugees in a war? 

- The refugees came especially from Syria, because of the bombs dropped during the war. They were spread among the european states, where they can work and have a normal life.

• What do you know about refugees from poverty? 

- The refugees were not that lucky, so they ended up living in poverty, especially in Africa and in some smaller countries from Asia. These countries are not really advanced, not having too many resources (e.g. water, food).

• Who is responsible for the children that have to go on the run?

- War and poverty are the causes of children fleeing from their homes.

• What rights do refugee children have? 

- Refugee children have the same rights as the usual children, meaning the right of having a family, the right of having a home and the right of having enough resources (e.g. food, water). 

 

Article 24:

To grow up in a healthy way you need to eat healthy food, like vegetables and fruit, but you got to variate your alimentation, so you get all the proteins you need. you also have to do sport and drink water

My parents take care of me when i'm ill. they get me to the doctor to be examined and get a prescription of the medication i need.

Yes, we do, but too much fast food is bad

If the infant do not eat sterilized food or they drink contaminated water, they may get ill or even die.

Yes, we think the children have in average enough helthy food to survive in our world.

Article 27: Every child has the right to a standard of living adequate for the child's physical, mental, spiritual, moral and social development.

 

1.What makes a house a home?

Everyone has his own place in which he feels good, safe and happy. Most of these houses are homes because of the memories they keep, whether they're safe or dangerous, clean or unclean. For example, even the refugees from Syria wouldnt've left home unless the place became unlivable. 

In conclusion, a house is a home if it holds memories.

 

2.If your parents couldn't take care fo you; who would?

Childhood isn't what it should without parents. It is cruel to take parents away from their children, but I see nothing wrong in other people helping them. To answer the question exactly, nobody can replace parents, but we can add other people to children's lives to give them another chance to life.

 

3.Do you have right to everything you like or want?

Usually, a child should have everything he needs and some of the things he wants, but it's not a right. Having everything you want in your childhood can make you a greedy adult, which is dangerous. However, surpressing their needs will make a depressed person.

 

 

 

This poem goes out to all the children in Nepal and Syria,unfortunately I couldn’t find a title,because what you’re about to read contains so many problems,that it was hard to choose a decent title,that would match.

What is a home? 

It’s loving and family

and doing for others. 

It’s brothers and sisters

and fathers and mothers.

It’s all about a family

And not many have it

How do they live?

Not enough to eat,not much

To wear

It’s all about the happiness

And not many enjoy it

They’re too poor,they can’t
